RTV Department of Radio Engineering Troops
The department trains personnel in the field of radar equipment and complexes, automated control systems, energy means of air defense of the Russian Federation.

The department was founded in 2019.
The training of students is organized according to the program of military training for military service under contract in military positions to be replaced by officers (after receiving higher education) according to the programs of military training of reserve officers and sergeants. The training is conducted in the military accounting specialties of the radio engineering troops (RTV) of the VKS.
The main directions of scientific research:
- increasing the information content and noise immunity of radio equipment;
- unmanned aerial vehicles;
- increasing the automation of the processes of conducting radar reconnaissance of the airspace.

In the process of studying at the military department, students undergo training camps and internships in units and divisions of the radio engineering troops of the Aerospace Forces of Russia.
Educational and familiarization and maintenance practices are held at the Dmitrov branch of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, where training samples of weapons, military and special equipment of the RTV are deployed.
